AIMED AT: ceramics and artists who wish to update their knowledge, enhance or deepen in their technique on moulds and its various applications
DURATION: 4 weeks, 4 sessions: saturdays from February to March, 2020
ATTENDANTS: places are limited, maximum 12 participants
Knowledge on mould production for ceramics is a very technical and specific one. In many occasion, projects aren’t carried out due to the lack of knowledge about this technique.
The aim of the course is to give an overview of different types of moulds, applications and technical solutions.
In each session, Claudi de José, specialist with many years of experience, offers technical resources to understand how plaster works and also, how to work with paste
During this course, theory and practical sessions will be held.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Learn how to make plaster molds according to each participant specific needs.
CONTENTS AND METHODOLOGY:
The course is divided in 4 sessions, split in three sections: theory, mould making and dough experimentation.
